ANOTHER 26 cases of the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) have been confirmed according to the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
Of these, 11 were local cases and the other 15 patients have travel history.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Singapore to 220.
The 11 local cases included people who were from three of the flu clusters: two were patrons of nightclub Butter Factory, two attended church camp at the Fishermen of Christ Church and two were full-time national servicemen from Maju Camp. The remaining six were unlinked cases.
Of the 15 imported cases, four had a travel history to the Philippines, four to Australia, three to Hong Kong, two to the USA, one to the UK and one to New Zealand.
MOH urged for those who are planning to travel to check the MOH website for the latest update on the list of countries with confirmed cases and/or exported H1N1 cases so that they can make considered decisions on whether to proceed with their travel plans.
