A WOMAN fell prey to a thief at a supermarket in Ang Mo Kio Hub on June 20 at about 9.15pm.

The 47-year-old was selecting fruit and had left her pouch in her trolley. When she turned to place her groceries into the trolley about 10 minutes later, she discovered that her pouch had been taken.

The pouch contained $400 cash, ATM and credit cards as well as her identity card and driving license.

The police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
