A SNATCH thief shocked his victim so much when he grabbed her laptop that he used the chance to demand for more valuables from her.
On Thursday, at around 12.30am, the 27-year-old woman was walking near Owen Road when the thief snatched the computer from her hands.
While she was still taken by surprise, The man made her give him her earrings and $200 cash. He fled with a total of $4,700 worth of items.
The dark man was about 1.7m tall, and was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt and trousers.
Witnesses to the theft may call the police at 1800-255-0000.
