Couple hurt in car crash

A WOMAN was seriously hurt when the car she was in collided with a tipper truck on Thursday.

The 31-year-old is now in intensive care for head injuries, while her husband, who was driving the car, hurt his face. The couple were travelling towards Admiralty Road West when the crash happened.

The 61-year-old truck driver, who is not injured, is assisting police with investigations.

Witnesses to the crash may call the police at 1800-547-1818.
