A report by Symantec found that more companies in Asia, including Singapore are putting green strategies into action.
Of the 1052 companies surveyed, a third came from the Asia-pacific and Japan. 97 per cent of respondents say they are at least discussing a green strategy, while 45 per cent have already implemented green initiatives.
Apart from implementing policies, there is also an increase in 'green' budgets.
Two-thirds of respondents said they would pay at least 10 per cent more, while 41 per cent are willing to pay at least 20 per cent more.
Mr Alvin Ow, Senior Director, System Engineering, Symantec said going green is not just about being trendy, it also reduces a company's operational costs.
While companies are doing their part to save the environment, it seems many Singaporeans are still hesitant when it comes to going green.
RazorTV spoke to Singaporeans on the streets and found out that although the majority are aware of environmentally friendly measures, not all of them are doing their part to save the earth.
Well, green or not, it is never too late to start.
