THE Singapore Grand Prix marked quite a few firsts for Singapore last year.

And one first has resulted in an unexpected birth for the Singapore Arts Festival this year - a performance by Jeremy Monteiro and the T'ang Quartet.

Jeremy Monteiro Trio & T'ang Quartet featuring Randy Brecker, Ernie Watts and Richard Jackson has already sold out its two performances at the Esplanade's Concert Hall on Friday and Saturday nights.
