Doctor denies molest charges
By Esther Tan

A DOCTOR of a clinic located at Ubi Crescent claimed trial after he faced molest charges brought against him by his clinic assistant.

General Practitioner Boon Seng Poh, 40, is alleged to have touched the breast of his 29-year-old assistant at his clinic on Oct 18, 2006. Two weeks later, he allegedly molested her again by hugging her from behind with his hand touching an area near her breast.

When the assistant took the stand this morning, she recalled that barely three months after she started working at the clinic, Boon pulled down her tank top and bra on the pretext of checking if she had chicken pox.

She claimed that he then complimented her on having nice breasts, leaving her feeling disgusted.

After her return from chicken pox two weeks later, Boon asked to check her again. This time, he unclipped her bra and checked her breasts.

'I was shocked and asked him why. He said he was checking for breast cancer,' she said.

The trial continues.
