MORE squabbles within the Singapore Swimming Club have gone to the courts.

Two club members have found themselves on the receiving end of criminal defamation complaints while, in a separate case, a club member recently applied to the High Court seeking a declaration that club funds cannot be used to defend the club president in an ongoing court dispute.

These cases bring to eight the total number of club-linked disputes that have reached the courts since last year.
