A WOMAN was charged on Wednesday with four counts of abusing her Filipino maid.
Annie Tan, 38, allegedly grabbed Ms Vilma Lambino Manuel on her head and banged it against the wall three times at her Bishan flat on Sept 18 last year.
She is also said to have slapped her on her face, causing her nose to bleed; grabbed her right forearm, and kicked her on the left leg in the wee hours that day.
If convicted, she faces a jail term of up to three years and/or a fine of up to $7,500 on each charge.
