The accident occurred in the direction toward Aljunied Road, near Geylang Lorong 2.

The victim was pushing his bicycle across the road when a car hit the 53-year-old man, causing him to sustain serious head injuries.

The man was sent to hospital where he died four hours later.

A suspect has since been arrested and is assisting with investigations.
