THE Geylang Serai permanent market is set to open in July - about three months ahead of schedule.
Stallholders were informed on Monday that they could begin moving into the new premises along Changi Road in the middle of July.
In response to queries from The Straits Times, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said the opening date had been brought forward at the request of the Hawker Centres Upgrading Programme (HUP) Working Committee.
