POLICE are investigating two thefts that occured over the weekend.
In the first incident, a 46-year-old contractor received a telephone call last Friday from the HDB Centre informing him that residents of Block 315C in Anchorvale Road were unable to view television channels.
When he went there to check, he found that two C-COR amplifiers, which had been installed at the riser on the ground floor, were missing.
Each amplifier costs about $3,000.
In the other incident, a mobile phone worth $180 was taken from a flat in Block 473 Choa Chu Kang Ave 3 on Sunday when a 17-year-old student left it to charge in her room by the window.
She was not in the room when it occured but said that her younger sister had seen a hand reach in and take the mobile phone.
