TWO teens were charged in court on Tuesday with robbing and assaulting an elderly man in February.
Kumaran Tanggapan and Sundareswarar Penirselvam, both 16, are alleged to have committed robbery with hurt on Mr Ang Liang Hock, 70, along a footpath linkway of Block 509 Serangoon North Avenue 4 on Feb 3.
They allegedly robbed Mr Ang of two POSB ATM cards, his identity card, a senior citizen EZLink card, a driving licence and a $60 mobile phone at about 5.30am that day.
Both were remanded for further investigation.
They will be back in court next Tuesday.
If found guity, they can be jailed between five and 20 years and cane not less than 12 strokes.
