TWO motorcyclists were killed in three separate road incidents on Thursday.
The first casualty occurred at 8am when a 65-year-old rider was badly injured after his two-wheeler collided with a car at the traffic junction of Bedok North Road and Bedok Reservoir Road.
He is now warded in Changi General Hospital, where he is receiving treatment for internal injuries and a leg fracture.
At 3pm, a motorcycle collided with a lorry making a U-turn on Commonwealth Avenue towards Commonwealth Avenue West.
The 56-year-old despatch rider was taken to the National University Hospital with serious head injuries, but died shortly after at 4.45pm.
At 6.50pm, a 20-year-old male rider died after he lost control of his bike along the East Coast Parkway towards the Ayer Rajah Expressway.
He struck a railing along the middle of the expressway and injured his spine.
The man was taken unconscious to the Singapore General Hospital, but died on Friday morning.
Drivers involved in the two fatal incidents are helping police with investigations.
