Ee was then taken to the Police Cantonment Complex at about 8.45pm where he appeared to shy away from the over 20 reporters and cameramen who waited for him at the entrance.
Arriving in two cars and flanked by police, Ee still wore the same clothes as when he was last seen surrendering to the Singapore Embassy in Bangkok on Tuesday. He also appeared to have cut his hair quite short.
Ee may be charged with the Cortina theft in the next few days.
