Certificates of entitlement for cars up to 1,600cc ended 4.6 per cent higher at $5,116, while the premium for cars above 1,600cc fell by 2 per cent to $5,001.
The Open COE, which can be used for any vehicle type but ends up mainly for cars, was 4.9 per cent firmer at $5,982.
The premium for commercial vehicles posted the strongest gain - up 5.7 per cent to $5,600.
Motorcycle COEs settled at $912, 4.8 per cent lower than the rate posted at the previous tender two weeks ago.
