IF THERE was one thing young Paula Creamer liked about golf, it was driving a buggy at night along the course and letting her golden retriever chase her. That was it.
'For the first 10 years of her life she didn't want a single thing to do with golf,' Creamer's dad Paul, 55, told The Sunday Times on Saturday as he followed his daughter playing in the leading group at the HSBC Women's Champions.
Even being raised in a home located on the first tee of a country club in Pleasanton, California, had no effect on young Paula, who did everything from baseball to tennis, gymnastics to dancing.
