The event was graced by Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs Raymond Lim.
Three categories of awards were presented - Service Personality of the Year, Outstanding Service Providers and Outstanding Team Award.
Speaking at the reception, Mr Lim noted that every staff member is critical to the Changi experience.
'Looking ahead, given the tough economic environment, we can expect air travellers to be even more demanding in their choice of stopover airports and holiday destinations. As always, excellent customer service will be key to retaining the competitive edge," said Mr Lim.
CAAS' Director-General and Chief Executive Officer, Lim Kim Choon, presented a cheque for S$50,000 to the Rainbow Centre Margaret Drive School. The money was raised through staff donations and activities.
CAAS adopted the school, which provides special education programmes for children with developmental disabilities, as its beneficiary under the CAAS' charity adoption programme last year.
