SBS Transit and SMRT will lower bus fares for its non-basic services, such as premium bus services, from April 1.
This follows Thursday's announcement of a two-cent reduction for basic bus services.
SBS Transit, which runs 60 non-basic services, will reduce their fares by one cent to 20 cents.
Commuters who ride on the operator's 30 premium bus services will pay 20 cents less come April.
Currently, fares range from $3.30 to $3.60.
Eight of SMRT's 12 premium bus services will also charge 20 cents less in fare. Currently, these eight services charge $3.50 to $5.
Besides premium bus services, commuters who ride on other non-basic services like express buses and SBS Transit's Nite Owl services will also pay less.
