THE public will soon be able to make online donations to support the arts and culture on a new website.
To be up by the latter half of this year, the online cultural philanthrophy donation portal will make it easier for the public to lend their support through small donations, said Senior Minister of State (Information, Communications and the Arts) Lui Tuck Yew in Parliament on Friday.
Large donations currently make up a significant portion of the roughly $40 million a year that cultural institutions here receive in private cash and in-kind contributions, he added.
