A FATHER and son have been jailed for drug-related offences.
Philip Fung Yong Hoe, 60, was given 10 years on Wednesday for trafficking in four straws containing .04g of heroin and having another four straws with .07g of heroin at the void deck of Bukit Merah View on Nov 17 last year. He also pleaded guilty to consuming morphine.
His son, Christopher Fung Yong Hua, 39, was jailed a total of nine years and will be caned six strokes for taking morphine and possessing one straw of heroin at a flat in Bukit Merah View on the same day.
Christopher admitted to Central Narcotics Bureau officers that he had obtained the heroin to smoke from his father.
Both men have previous convictions for drug consumption and possession.
Two other trafficking charges against Philip and one of drug consumption against Christopher were considered during sentencing.
