FOR the 12th year running, some 1,000 soldiers from the Singapore and New Zealand armed forces are taking part in an artillery exercise at the Waiouru training area in New Zealand.
Codenamed 'Exercise Thunder Warrior', it began on Jan 9 and will end on Feb 13.
The first such exercise was held in 1997 as a way to build cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries.
