ONLY 23 out of the 70,000 cases of non-payment of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges in November and December last year were found to be related to compatibility problems between the CashCards and the vehicles' In-Vehicle Unit (IU), said Transport Minister Raymond Lim, in a written reply to Parliament.
This indicated that 'most of the problems are behind us', said the Minister.
He was replying to Mr Lim Biow Chuan (Marine Parade GRC) who asked for the number of motorists summoned for non-payment of ERP charges in the last three months.
Investigations by the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and NETS from May to October last year found some 2,900 NETS CashCards were flawed.
