AN UNEMPLOYED man was charged in court on Thursday with three counts of vandalism outside Parliament House.
Koh Chan Meng, 47, is said to have written words on a low display wall outside the building at the junction of North Bridge Road and Parliament Street on Tuesday and Wednesday.
He allegedly wrote 'Go sue me Lee Kuan Yew...' at about 1.50pm on Tuesday, followed by another graffiti about five hours later.
He was nabbed after the latest incident at about 1.30pm on Wednesday after he had allegedly scribbled 'Hi, Harry Lee I love you' on the wall.
Harry refers to Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew.
Koh, clad in a red T-shirt and light brown trousers, was remanded for psychiatric assessment at the Institute of Mental Health.
He will be back in court on Jan 29.
If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $2,000 or a jail term of up to three years with at least three strokes of the cane on each charge.
