SOME 10,000 residents in Yishun joined Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Wednesday night to usher in the new year at a four-hour countdown party.
The party was organised by Nee Soon South grassroots organisations and saw thousands of people throng an open air field across Khatib MRT station to watch local and regional artistes perform.
Also present were Ang Mo Kio GRC MPs Lam Pin Min and Lee Bee Wah, and Yio Chu Kang MP Seng Han Thong
