NATIONAL serviceman Ruslan Rusli and his girlfriend were among thousands who trekked deep into the Kaki Bukit industrial estate over the weekend for a warehouse sale by bookstore Page One.
Under a makeshift tent and fluorescent lights, the couple grabbed a dozen lifestyle and self-help titles - and saved about $200.
Mr Ruslan, 20, said the 'unglamorous' surroundings were the last thing on his mind.
