DEMAND for older workers is still high in the health-care sector despite the current economic downturn.
Singapore's two large acute hospitals are on a recruitment drive to attract mainly mid-career workers looking to embark on a new career in the health-care industry.
'With Singaporeans' health-care needs increasing, public hospitals are expanding to meet (the) demands and challenges,' said Mr Joe Sim, the chief operation officer and acting chief executive of the National University Hospital (NUH).
