HOME, the charity known for helping foreign workers, has regained its Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status or the right to collect tax-deductible donations about a year after losing it.
The National Council of Social Service (NCSS) said it renewed the Humanitarian Organisation for Migration Economics (Home) IPC status last month as Home has 'rectified the past issues'.
The charity has submitted supporting documents, such as audited accounts and an annual report, and shown proof of putting in place governance policies and procedures, said the NCSS.
