A SINGAPORE man has been sentenced to almost 10 years in jail by a New Zealand court after he was caught entering the country with millions of dollars in drugs strapped to his body.
Ang Lai Heng and an accomplice, a Singaporean woman identified only as Teh, were nabbed at the Auckland airport with almost $4 million worth of methamphetamines.
They were arrested on May 10 by customs officers after arriving on a flight from Hong Kong.
