Court quashes conviction
By K. C. Vijayan, Law Correspondent

Tiwary was jailed in 2006 for murdering his two Singaporean flatmates in a Sydney apartment.

The three-judge appeal court upheld the appeal by Tiwary, declaring that the trial had been improperly carried out and ordered that the case be sent for re-trial.
