NEARLY all parents of Primary 6 pupils will receive SMSes at 9am on Thursday telling them which secondary schools their children have been posted to .
SMSes were introduced as a new way for parents to receive secondary school posting results this year.
The messages will be received by 98.5 per cent of parents of the 49,856 Primary 6 pupils from mainstream schools.
The parents provided their mobile phone numbers when their children submitted their school choices after the Primary School Leaving Examination results were released last month.
Parents and pupils can also check the results by dialling 6691-2066 to reach an
interactive voice response system, or visit
www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/
secondary-one-posting/
Parents can also visit their children's
primary schools to check the posting results.
Pupils have to report to the secondary schools that they have been posted to on Friday at 8.30am.
