AMONG the crowd of happy families attending the 71/08 Officer Cadet Course Commissioning Parade on Saturday was proud papa Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife, Ms Ho Ching.
They were at the SAFTI Military Institute in Jurong to see their youngest son, Li Haoyi, become a commissioned officer of the Singapore Armed Forces.
PM Lee's second son, Li Hongyi, was also an officer.
The ceremony is held four times yearly to mark the end of 38 weeks of training after which officer cadets become commissioned officers.
Over 500 officer cadets were commissioned on Saturday.
