A MAN was charged in a district court on Monday for outraging the modesty of a 22-year-old woman in a Shenton Way hotel in May.
According to court documents, Teng Chee Chuan, 35, was in a lift with the woman on May 8 when he held her hand and kissed her on her cheek.
Ten minutes later, while both of them were in a locker room, he kissed her lips, hugged her and touched her right breast.
He faces two charges and could be jailed up to two years, fined or caned on each of the charges. He is due back on court on Dec 22.
