Budget announced next Jan

THE 2009 Budget Speech will be delivered in Parliament on Thursday, 22 January said the Ministry of Finance on Friday.

Parliament will sit and debate the budget from Feb 3.

With this change, the Budget feedback exercise will be brought forward to Dec 31 this year.

Singaporeans can give their views on how the Budget can enhance the economy and fulfill their aspirations for Singapore through the Budget 2009 website www.singaporebudget.gov.sg.
