STUDENTS at Hwa Chong International School got a chance to experience at first-hand several less common sports that will be featured at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
As part of their Sports Fiesta, which takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, about 200 students at the International School got to learn the background, as well as try out aspects of five different sports: Handball, Sailing, Triathlon, Wrestling, and Rowing.
Both the Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee and Hwa Chong International School hope that through this event, the students would be encouraged to help out during the 2010 Youth Olympic Games.
