THE Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) rolled out its first F-15SG multi-role fighter aircraft on Monday in St Louis, Missouri, in a ceremony officiated by Chief of Air Force Major-General Ng Chee Khern.
The F-15SG is the most advanced variant of the F-15 aircraft built so far. It is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and possesses increased firepower and combat endurance.
A total of 24 F-15SG aircraft has been acquired by the RSAF.
The first batch will be delivered to the RSAF's detachment at the Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, United States, next year.
