A NEW hotel will be coming up in Clarke Quay next year.
The Park Hotel Group announced on Wednesday that its latest property in Singapore, Park Hotel Clarke Quay, would be ready by next March.
The group made this announcement on the sidelines of the inaugural ITB Asia, the Asian run of the world's largest travel trade show.
The new 10-storey hotel will have 336 rooms and suites, as well as facilities like three multi-purpose meeting and conference rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and spa pavilions.
The building, designed by DP Architects, is 'a contemporary take on Singapore architecture in the 1800s', said the group. It will have a red-tiled roof and towers with spires, while the exterior will feature neo-classical motifs like cast iron balconies and large overhanging eaves.
DP Architects director Tai Lee Siang said: "The design of Park Hotel Clarke Quay seeks to enhance the rich heritage and architectural style along the Singpaore River."
This hotel is the group's third property in Singapore.
