A 79-YEAR-OLD woman, who was wheelchair-bound, lost her $300 gold necklace to a snatch thief last Tuesday afternoon.
She was robbed at the void-deck of Block 44, Sims Drive, by a man who distracted her by talking to her before grabbing and making off with her necklace.
He fled in the direction of Geylang Road.
The man is described as tanned, medium-built and about 1.7m tall. He is in his 40s-50s and was last seen in a light-coloured floral shirt and blue jeans.
