SINGAPORE Polytechnic will start a new diploma programme in Nutrition, Health and Wellness - the first of its kind - from next April.
With increasing demand for healthy living , students will learn about enhancing lifestyle through the melding of nutrition and physical, mental and social well-being.
A Nutrition, Health and Wellness Centre will also be set up at the polytechnic, with laboratories equipped for metabolic and physiology studies and food preparation.
It will link with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports, community clubs and the Health Promotion Board on public health programmes.
