THE next time you see an orange star made up of five figures joining their hands together on a company's brochures, you will know that the firm is a Community Chest award winner.

The ComChest has launched an award logo to recognise companies which have been giving to it.

This was announced to the 259 recipients of the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards at the award presentation ceremony on Thursday.

They were handed trophies by the guest of honour, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan.
