JAMUNA, the surviving Nepali conjoined twin, returned to Singapore last night with her mother Madam Sandhya Shrestha.
Madam Shrestha, who has lost a lot of weight since the death of her other daughter, Ganga, two months ago, wept. Jamuna looked weak, and had not been able to go to the toilet the whole day.
Several Singaporeans at the airport recognised Jamuna and a couple wished her every success in her treatment.
