BATAM - TWELVE days after he went missing at sea, the body of commercial diver Mohammed Borhan Jamal was washed ashore on a small Indonesian island on Sunday afternoon.
His body surfaced about 30km away from where he disappeared on Sept 9 at the Eastern Petroleum A Anchorage off the Bedok Jetty.
Yesterday, seven of his relatives, including his parents and wife, caught an afternoon ferry from HarbourFront and later that evening, identified his badly-decomposed body at a mortuary in Batam.
