DIRECTOR Eric Khoo's new film My Magic has been selected by the Singapore Film Commission (SFC) as Singapore's official entry to the Oscars.
The movie was the first Singapore film to be invited to take part in the prestigious Palme d'Or (Golden Palm) competition at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Khoo, 42, told Life! that he is 'very, very happy' with the Oscars submission. He is sure that this time, the film will not run afoul of the language rules.
