SEVERAL roads in and near the East Coast area will be fully or partially-closed to facilitate traffic arrangements for the Aviva Ironman 70.3 Triathlon this Sunday.
Roads that will fully closed from 2am to 1.30pm are the East Coast Park Service Road (between Fort Road and Playground @ Big Splash); part of Keppel Way towards Anson Road and the Tanjong Katong South Exit to East Coast Park Service Road.
From 6am to 1.30pm, the roads will be closed fully: the Ophir Road, Marina Boulevard, Maxwell Road and Keppel Road accesses into East Coast Park towards Changi Airport.
The Traffic Police has advised those going to the eastern part of Singapore to use alternative routes like Beach Road, Nicoll Highway, Mountbatten Road or Tanjong Katong Road.
