A FIRE broke out in a house on Hertford Road early on Friday morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call at 4.20 am and rushed to the scene within five minutes.
Two houses were burning but the fire was brought under control in 15 minutes.
The fire started at one house and spread to a neighbour's unit.
A motor car and a motor cycle parked in front of one of the houses were damaged by the fire.
Four occupants of this house were unhurt.
