TOPPING this year's recipients of National Day Awards is Chief Justice Chan Sek Keong, who was awarded The Order of Temasek (Second Class).

This award is given in recognition of his overall contributions in the capacities he has held as Attorney-General and now as Singapore's Chief Justice.

He is also being recognised for his outstanding contributions towards the Pedra Branca case.

26 individuals and five organisations too are awarded for their significant contributions towards the successful outcome of the Pedra Branca issue.
