That is the treat The Straits Times has in store for readers in the newspaper's first ever poll of the most popular hawkers here.
The ST Readers' Choice: Singapore's Favourite Hawkers poll will recognise the most popular stalls featuring 20 different dishes.
And they will be picked by you.
The dishes are fried Hokkien mee, chicken rice, prawn mee, wonton mee, char kway teow, minced pork noodles, oyster omelette, fried carrot cake, nasi lemak, mee rebus, mee siam, Indian rojak, nasi bryani, mee goreng, fish soup, yong tau foo, bak kut teh, kway chap, roti prata and laksa.
The poll will be conducted in two stages.
From now till Aug 31, readers can nominate their favourite hawker stalls online by logging on to Stomp at www.stomp. com.sg.
You can nominate as many stalls for as many of the 20 dishes as you wish.
