JAKARTA - A DUTCH tourist has been stabbed to death on Indonesia's Borneo island, a report said on Saturday.
'On Friday at 10.30pm (11.30pm Singapore time) there was a stabbing incident of a Dutch tourist near the public hall of Nunukan regency,' local police chief Purwa Cahyoko was quoted as saying by Antara state news agency.
He said that the victim, who has been identified only as a 26-year-old man named Pleizeir, was stabbed a dozen times.

The police chief said the alleged killer, a man named Basri bin Ismail, had been arrested. -- AFP
