LONDON - THAI authorities have recovered the body of a British yachtsman suspected of being murdered in a robbery attempt off southern Thailand's Andaman sea coast, the British Foreign Office said on Monday.
Three Myanmar fishermen have been arrested over the disappearance of Malcolm Robertson, 64, who reportedly had his throat slashed in front of his wife Linda before he was thrown into the sea.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: 'A body recovered by the Thai authorities today has been identified as Mr Robertson.
'Our thoughts are with Mrs Robertson and her family at this difficult time.
The embassy team with them is providing consular support.' -- AFP
