MANILA - AT LEAST 13 people have been killed in flooding caused by heavy rains in the central Philippines this week, the civil defence office said on Saturday.
Four people were still missing in Camarines Norte province, it said. Deaths also occured in the central islands of Samar and Leyte.
Three people were also injured in the flooding with almost 1,500 people still housed in makeshift evacuation centres.
However the civil defence office said the rains had eased and the floods were starting to subside. -- AFP
